Course Description:
- Dr. James Demetrious provides a review of clinical documentation and informed consent. He will discuss meaningful ways to enhance the informed consent process and explore methods to improve clinical charting and communication.

- The Standard of Care
- Initial intake forms and means to elicit important clinical information from patients.
- Informed consent documentation
- Hour 2:
- Informed consent processes.
- Intake forms for existing patients regarding changes in their medical history.
- Office tools that convey the risks and benefits of chiropractic care.
Learning Objectives:
- Attendees will better understand current concepts related to the documentation of intake data.
- Attendees will improve their informed consent processes.
- Attending doctors will be better prepared to document new clinical problems.

Dr. James Demetrious is a nationally distinguished, board certified chiropractic orthopedist. He is a clinician, educator, author, and editor. Dr. Demetrious is the co-founder and CEO of PostGradDC. He is a member of the NCMIC Speakers’ Bureau and teaches post-graduate coursework throughout the United States. He has published peer-reviewed journal papers related to advanced differential diagnosis. He serves as an editorial reviewer on behalf of the journals: Spine, Annals of Internal Medicine, and Clinical Anatomy. Dr. Demetrious has continually cared for patients since 1986.
