I Defend Chiropractic for the Benefit of our Patients

To My Colleagues and the Legal Community:

My advocacy for chiropractic begins and ends with patient welfare.  Having practiced for 40 years, I witnessed the unique ability of chiropractic care to alleviate suffering, restore function, return people to work, care for their families, and improve quality of life. Improving patients’ health and access to that care are my focus.

I am deeply concerned when plaintiffs’ attorneys and retained experts pursue substantial settlements, verdicts, and professional fees through low-level evidence, speculative theories of causation, or selective interpretations of science. Such practices harm doctors and their families, undermine public confidence, increase liability pressures, and, in my opinion, pose an existential threat to the chiropractic profession and the care of millions of people.

Patient safety and well-being remain the foundation of my work as an educator, author and advocate. For our patients, I seek to advance and defend the chiropractic profession.
