- This advanced postgraduate lecture explores the clinical evaluation of patients presenting with vertigo, dizziness, and tinnitus with suspected cervical contributions. Emphasis is placed on upper cervical neuroanatomy, vestibular integration, and the mechanisms proposed in cervicogenic dysfunction.

- Hour 1:
- Upper cervical anatomy, proprioception, and vestibular-auditory integration
- Differential diagnosis of vertigo and tinnitus, including red-flag screening
- Evidence-informed chiropractic management, documentation, and referral thresholds
- Hour 1:
- Learning Objectives:
- Identify presentations that suggest cervicogenic cause of vertigo and tinnitus.
- Better understand the sensorimotor contributions to vestibular and auditory function.
- Develop a safe, evidence-informed chiropractic management plan with appropriate co-management or referral when indicated.

Dr. James Demetrious is a nationally distinguished, board certified chiropractic orthopedist. He is a clinician, educator, author, and editor. Dr. Demetrious teaches post-graduate coursework on behalf of Northeast College of Health Sciences. He is an independent member of the NCMIC Speakers’ Bureau and teaches post-graduate coursework throughout the United States. He has published peer-reviewed journal papers related to advanced differential diagnosis. Dr. Demetrious cared for patients for 40 years.
