Learning Objectives:
- Define the reasonable chiropractic standard of care in the assessment and management of neck pain and possible cervical artery dissection (CAD).
- Recognize red flag signs and symptoms that may indicate CAD or vertebral artery dissection (VAD).
- Apply appropriate history, risk assessment, and physical exam strategies in suspected CAD cases.
- Identify the role of diagnostic imaging and referral pathways.
- Apply best practices in documentation, communication, and informed consent.
